For more than 35 years we have made the everyday life easier for students, parents, teachers and managers. Half of us that work here have a background as teachers or school leaders, so we understand all aspects of school. Together we make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn more.

It’s been this way since the 80’s, when an idea was born in a garage in Växjö. An idea that would grow into a multinational business with hundreds of co-workers. But no one knew, yet – except for maybe our founder, Björn Sundeby.
Björn wanted to do something of importance to society, and to do it really well. Since IST was founded in 1982, that “something” has been to provide quality solutions to empower learning.
