If you’ve been scrolling through our website lately, you might have noticed that we’ve added some new icons on our product pages. So, let us officially introduce you to the Sustainable Development Goals!
On our mission to become a more sustainable edtech provider, we’ve mapped our core products to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Now, our customers and users can easily find out how their use of our solutions can contribute to making the world a better and more sustainable place.
“An important part of how we work with sustainability at IST, is by making connections between our products and a more sustainable world,” said Elisabeth Wandel, Sustainability Manager at IST.
She added: “It’s in the way we conduct our everyday business activities that we can make a true impact on our customers, users and the planet. By showing how our products contribute to the different Sustainable Development Goals, we can help our customers reach their own sustainability goals.”
“Working towards a greener IST is not only beneficial for us but it also helps our customers and users become more sustainable by using our digital solutions.”
Create a More Peaceful and Prosperous World by 2030
The Sustainable Development Goals were introduced and adopted by all UN member states in 2015. This global agenda, consisting of 17 goals, is set as a guide to create a more peaceful and prosperous world by 2030 when the plan is envisioned to have reached full implementation.
